A re-imagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom. Based on the best-selling novel by Stephen King.
I’ve never been a huge fan of the original 1979 version of Carrie maybe because I’ve never given it a chance. I kind of remember watching bits here and there and thinking it’s not a scary movie. Well, it’s not really gore-ish movie, I think it’s more psychological horror. But as soon as I heard it’s being remade I instantly thought it would suck. Everything is being remade nowadays so nothing’s new.
But I’m excited about this one! Particularly due to to the fact that they’ve casted Chloë Grace Moretz as Carrie! I like her. Plus there’s also Julienne Moore as well. I’m always against remakes and usually can tell how shitty it can be by watching the trailer, but surprisingly I like the trailer. I’m now excited to see the movie.
